Local Search Journal.com (LSJ) is a site dedicated to help local SEOs and small business owners improve their search engine optimization skills.  LSJ is owned and operated by Dan DeRoeck, LLC.

Dan DeRoeck lives with his family in Pinckney, Michigan, a small community 15 miles northwest of Ann Arbor.  Dan practices both local and global SEO.  His emphasis with this website is helping local businesses with web marketing and optimization – to help them drive traffic, organic and PPC, improve conversions and increase revenues through web marketing best practices.

SMB owners either don’t have the time or lack the basic knowledge of how the Internet can help their business – in most cases it’s the former. This site is meant to provide a source of information to them.
